The Day Icarus Died

In one of the days of past

One that stayed its welcome, last

Sun was shining more

Even brighter than before

Earth mold me in the body

The wind was the one, shaped my soul

The stairs, mountain and the cold

Only the top left, that's all.

I run, hop and jump

Fly a little, too high

"Wax, wax don't melt on me"

A view you can't pass by

"I flew, higher than any man,

But luck was nowhere to be found.

Sun was shining more

Even brighter than before."

Sky was a different blue, I bet

On the day Icarus died.

And everyone in the end forget

He did fly so high
